In an effort to assist our faculty and staff with aging in place and adult care concerns, we have compiled a variety of helpful resources and ideas. Please note that these resources are only suggestions and not endorsed by Lafayette College.
Provides information for older adults including COVID-19 resources, Coronavirus-related IRS guidance, food banks and grocery delivery, activity suggestions, and pet care. Operating under program guidance from the Pennsylvania Department of Aging, with County, State and Federal funding, the Area Agencies on Aging provide local services, act as advocates, and generally assist older citizens to remain active in their communities. These services, delivered directly, purchase of service from a community agency, or by cooperative agreement, are designed to enhance the independence and dignity of older adults, and to provide protection as well. The Area Agency on Aging serves residents of Northampton County who are 60 years of age or older.

The Village on College Hill is a member-driven organization for the College Hill residents of Easton, PA. It serves people 50 and over, providing programs and services so members can lead vibrant, active and healthy lives while living in their own homes.
