Lafayette College provides tuition benefit programs to assist full-time benefit-eligible employees with the cost of their eligible dependent’s post-secondary education. Lafayette’s tuition benefit program for employees’ dependents’ full-time study includes Lafayette Tuition Remission, The Tuition Exchange, Inc., and Tuition Grants.  Part-time tuition benefits are also available for eligible employees and spouses at Lafayette and LVAIC institutions.

Lafayette Tuition Remission

Qualified dependent children of eligible faculty and staff are eligible for tuition remission benefits at Lafayette. Please see the Tuition Program Summary for additional information.

The Tuition Exchange, Inc.

This scholarship program allows dependent children to attend school at over 600 participating higher education institutions managed by the National Tuition Exchange Headquarters in Washington, D.C.  Eligibility for tuition exchange does not guarantee acceptance into the program.  Please see the Tuition Program Summary for additional information.

Tuition Grants

The maximum grant allowed is 50% of Lafayette’s tuition in the year of attendance.  Tuition grants are limited to a maximum of three dependent children per family. Please see the Tuition Program Summary for additional information.

Part-Time Tuition Remission

Tuition Remission on a part-time basis may be available to eligible employees and spouses at Lafayette College.  Children of faculty, administrators, and staff may take up to three courses at Lafayette, once the parent reaches eligibility for full-time remission. LVAIC Part-time Tuition Remission

Qualified full-time employees and spouses are eligible to enroll in two undergraduate courses each semester at any Lehigh Valley Association of Independent Colleges (LVAIC) institution.  Please see the Tuition Program Summary for additional information.
