The Senior Investment Associate (SIA) will be part of a team of three generalist investment professionals responsible for managing the Lafayette endowment. The SIA will be responsible for supporting the Office of Investments in a broad range of activities, including:

• Evaluating and monitoring a broad range of fund managers, with a focus on Public Equities and alternative investments including Private Markets and Absolute Return Strategies
• Involvement in all steps of the investment review and decision‐making process. Preparing written recommendations and presentations following rigorous investment and operational due diligence to the internal staff and to Investment Committee.
• Participate in all aspects of an Investment Committee (IC) led governance process including IC meetings and the preparation of IC dockets including monthly, quarterly, and annual performance reports for Investment Committee and Board of Trustees meetings.
• Ensuring and maintaining proper documentation of pipeline of investment opportunities, meeting notes, and legal documentation for institutional memory.
• Representing the College at conferences, meetings, and the investment community. Completion of annual surveys and other internal and external requests for information.
• Help to mentor summer interns by working with them on various projects.

Qualifications
• Experience evaluating, monitoring, or assisting in the selection of investment managers for an endowment, foundation, family office or fund of funds
• Strong analytical and technological skills
• Demonstrated knowledge of Alternative Investments including Private Markets and Absolute Return Strategies preferred
• Bachelor’s Degree with strong academic credentials, CFA candidate preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint
• Willingness to travel domestically and abroad
