The Tuition Exchange (TE) Program is a reciprocal scholarship program available at more than 700 participating institutions for eligible dependents of faculty and staff.
Effective Spring semester 2026, the required length of service for employee eligibility will be reduced to two years of continuous full-time Lafayette employment, down from the previous five-year requirement. Previous full-time employment at other institutions of higher education will be counted toward meeting the service requirements, provided the employment was immediately preceding* the employee’s employment at Lafayette College. *previous higher education employment must be in a full-time capacity and with a gap of no more than three (3) months.
TE scholarships are not guaranteed; eligibility is defined by the employee’s home institution (Lafayette), and award availability and selectivity vary by receiving school.
