This position has primary responsibility for assisting in the overall administration of academic support within the Math and Quantitative reasoning curriculum and serves as a liaison between departments and the Academic Resource Hub. The Specialist with assist with coordinating the overall provision of support including but not limited to: Mentored Study Groups (MSG’s), Drop-in Labs and Tutoring. This position will also be responsible for working with individual students and groups of students to support the development of content knowledge and strengthen study skills and strategies. This position reports to the Associate Director of the Academic Resource Hub and provides oversight to student employees.

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics and/or related field
• Demonstrated experience teaching and/or tutoring quantitative reasoning and/or math related subjects
• Strong communication and inter-personal skills
• Proficiency with Google Office Suite, data base platforms and tutoring software
This is a 10-month position, approximately 15-20 hours/week
