Staff and faculty can conveniently update their personal information in Banner Self-Service, including emergency contacts, email, and cell phone numbers. As we have adapted to a changing work environment, it has become even more important to maintain updated emergency contact information for staff and faculty.  It is also important to maintain accurate campus information, including your department, location and phone.

To update your personal information, please follow the below steps:

  • Go to:  https://selfservice.lafayette.edu/
  • Click on:  Personal Information
    • To Add a Cell Phone – Click “Add New” and select phone type (cell phone) and enter the area code and phone number.  Click ‘Add’.  
      • To edit (pencil icon), or delete (trash can icon) your cell phone number, click the corresponding icon and edit or delete your information.
    • To Add Personal Email – Click “Add New” and select email type (personal e-mail address), and enter your email address where indicated.  Click ‘Add’.  
      • To edit (pencil icon), or delete (trash can icon) your personal email, click the corresponding icon and edit or delete your information.
    • To Add Emergency Contact – Click “Add New” and enter first and last name, relationship type, and phone number (including area code).  Then Click ‘Add’ at the bottom of the page.  
      • To edit (pencil icon), or delete (trash can icon) your existing emergency contacts, click the corresponding icon and edit or delete your information.
  • Updating Campus/Home Address or Phone:  Although changing your campus address, home address, or home phone is not yet available through Banner Self-Service, you may submit this information on the Human Resources Website (Forms and Resources Page):
    • Go to https://hr.lafayette.edu/forms and click on the appropriate link under “Change of Address/Name”. Your submitted information is automatically routed to Human Resources, who will make the update for you in Banner.

Please note that submitting an address change to Banner, does not change the information in your Lafayette College retirement fund(s) accounts. Active employees may change their address over the phone with Fidelity’s customer support at 800-343-0860 and/or with TIAA at 1-800-842-2252.

We recommend that all staff and faculty periodically check your personal information in Banner to ensure accuracy.
