The Office of Human Resources oversees the annual Distinguished Service Award. This award was established to recognize sustained, distinguished performance by administrative, support, plant operations, and public safety staff members. The Distinguished Service Award allows faculty, administrators, and staff to thank and recognize other employees for contributing in significant ways to improve the Lafayette community. The Committee reviews nominations and makes recommendations to the President annually. The Recognition Committee is comprised of representatives from each division. The deadline for submission of nominations is April 22, 2022. Nominations should be sent to the Office of Human Resources or email@example.com.

The Administrator of the Year Prize Fund, instituted in 2002, was permanently endowed in 2005 by an admirer of our former Registrar and named the Cyrus S. Fleck Jr. ’52 Administrator of the Year Prize. This prize recognizes outstanding contributions by members of the Lafayette administrative team to the campus community. The recipient must be a full-time officer of administration and be selected by the President from nominations offered by members of the Faculty or Division Heads. Generally, the person should have been with the College for at least five years before the nomination. Please submit the name of your nominee(s) with a brief description of why you are making the nomination(s) to Aimee Torrisi, Administrative Coordinator, Office of the President firstname.lastname@example.org, by April 18, 2022.
